The Godfather: Mario Puzo's Coda The Death of Michael Corleone

The Godfather III was Francis Ford Coppola's biggest disappointment.

It was supposed to be the final part of this trilogy. Coppola recut the original film and renamed it exactly the name he and Mario Puzo gave it when they wrote the original script.

The film is tragically about Michael Corleone's striving to make his family business legitimate and to find some redemption for his deeds in the past.

Coda, in musical terms is an epilogue, so the name "Coda-The Death of Michael Corleone " is the summing up of the first two films.

If you havent seen the first two films, please take the time to watch them and follow up with Francis Ford Coppola's recut, Coda The Death of Michael Corleone.
